audio problems with WMP....

i'm currently using WMP 7.1 Build 3055, up to date on the windows ME OS.......i was having trouble with avi and such, so i downloaded and installed the nimo codec pack......well, the avi problems are solved, but now some of the videos that i have that used to play fine are staticy and noisy......picture is great, but the audio is worse.....i'm not sure why this is, i downloaded all audio codecs available with nimo, so it should work......they seem to play ok in WINDVD 3.1, but i'd really prefer to use WMP, since WINDVD has a crummy playlist setup....any ideas why it's doing this?.......thanks.......

Try DivX5 Pro.

howdi there...i dont know exactly whyu its happening coz u seem to have done the right thing...coz i use nimo codec 2, what verasion of Nimo Codec u installed coz he has just removed a new version, Version 5 Of nimo, tryi installing this one and secodly try installing DivX version 5 Pro.

This should make it work


oh yah are the files u wanna play smr or tmd files, have u got the codecs for them?

Try playing videos in WMP 6.4
For playlist compatibility I would recommend Yahooplayer or GDIVX.
WMP 7.1 has divx playback issues.
