    Aspi error

I'm new to ripping and when I try and rip a dvd to my hardrive all the ripping programs tell me I have an ASPI error is this because I have it formated as NTFS ? this is all that has changed since the last time I tried to rip a dvd. I looked at some site that said I could d/l a .dll file for it but this makes me nervous does anyone have a step by step solution for me ?

I'm not totally sure what's happened - but when I installed WinXP the DVD ripper programs said that an ASPI layer was missing. The following site helped me solve it
    aspi,aspi drivers,aspi layer,aspi layer drivers,aspi interface,force aspi, forceaspi,aspi windows xp,aspi winxp,aspi wxp,force aspi download,adaptec,adaptec aspi drivers, install aspi drivers,update aspi drivers,aspi guide,aspi tutorial,cd ripping,cd burning,aspi32.sys, wowpost.exe,winaspi.dll,wnaspi.dll,aspi win2k 2000,digital audio extraction,radified,aspi for windows 2000, fireburner,nero,eac,cdrwin

Try having a software DVD player open (Yes. Just have it open. No need to play anything on it), when you start-up the ripper.
