Help idenifying a CODEC

I downloaded a .mpg file when I tried to play it in WMP it said I didnt have the codec to play the file. It also gave me this error "Error# C00D109C"

Any one had this problem before and know what this codec is???

Try installing a software DVD player, like WinDVD or PowerDVD. It is likely to be an MPEG-2 file, which these players handle.

I tried to play it with WinDVD but still no luck but thanks for the help....

Can you open it in Virtual/nandub?
