    TMPGEnc DVD Author help

You know, Valentine's Day is coming up and I'm trying to put together a nice DVD with 2 music videos. I have already used my Pinnacle program to create the timeline of the videos and have placed in TMPGEnc DVD Author to create main/track pages. There is an option where I can select for BGM (I guess that's background music) whenever you scroll over the track selection as well I have added the motion. But I never hear any music. Also, how can I add music to the main screen page as well as the track page? It's kinda boring when you pop in the DVD and you're scrolling w/out music. Any help or suggestions?

afaik you can only use music for main menu only and it must be a selected mpeg-1 file with layer 2 audio or PCM (no AC3).

no it uses the audio from the mpeg. (look in the help section) you could mux it with the mpeg by re-encoding it--that would work.

You can use audio from any file you want (as long as it recognises it). You can use the video from a mpeg and the audio from a audio file if you want. If the audio is MP3 then it won't be recognised. It will work if it is MP2, MPA or WAV.

So, if the file is MP3, convert it to WAV for maximum compatibilty.

right, so even a simple convert of the mp3 with besweet/light to wav will do the trick.
