VCR Slideshow conversion

About ten years ago, my grandmother paid for a video conversion of hundreds of old photos to VCR slideshows.

I would like to convert these slideshows to digital, without having to pause on each picture and capture them manually.

Assuming that I purchase a good quality video capture card, is there a software product on the market capable of automatically 'stripping' still photos from an analog VHS slideshow?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can use MPEG Video Wizard or or Ulead VideoStudio to convert the VCD slideshows to DVD slideshows, add transitions between each picture, insert audio files, titles,...then author DVD with DVD author software such as TMPGEnc DVD Author with chapters and menu
