    DVD clips for Powerpoint Producer?

DVD clips for Powerpoint Producer? How would you direct someone to do this. I want to take 2-5 minute sections from DVD's, with sound, and use them in PowerPoint presentations at Church. How might I go about that?

    Thanks in advance.

what format / how much space do you want to use for the video?

mpeg2/dvd would be biggest but fast to create

mpeg4/avi will be possible with numerous tools and will result in much smaller file size

If you're burning to a CD and running from there, then set the target size to around 600 MB. WMV should be the most compatible (IE if you're not using your PC, all Windows computers can playback WMV, but not necessarily MPG-2), and can have great quality, even though no one believes me. I tried it out in UVS, where I made a 4 min video, I saved it as normal WMV and XviD AVI, the XviD was around 50 MB and the WMV was like 11. The WMV was better quality. Whaddya know?
