Ulead Video Stui 9 vs. DVD Movie Factory 4

I have tried Ulead Video Studio 9, and I really like it, but I don't feel like spending $100 for it. The Ulead DVD Movie Factory 4 is about half as expensive.

Are there things that Movie Factory 4 won't do? Are there known problems with either package? Pros...cons...

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Phishman1

I have never used either so i just did a search for the programs. The Ulead Studio 9 is just more detail oriented... so it really comes down to what you would like to do ? Movie Factory 4 is more easy to use & does the basics.... just take a look at that comparsion in the link and hopefully that helps.

VideoStudio all the way. I got a trial of Movie Factory, and couldn't do crap with it. If you are concerned about money, not sure if this would work, but you can go to Amazon Marketplace, and buy VideoStudio 5 for like $5. Then buy the Upgrade for $50, that gives you VS9. Like I said, I don't know if that will work or not. You can get VideoStudio 9 for $80 on Amazon.com, and there is a $30 rebate if you own a competitive product like Roxio, Pinnacle, etc.
