converting dvd to mp3

I want to know if it is possible to convert music from a dvd into an mp3. I have a music dvd that I want only to convert the audio and not the video. I am new at this and I am not have much luck finding any answers so far.

You can use either Graphedit or Vob2audio to extract the sound of the certain VOB set (which contains the music you want) and get a .wav file. After that, you can send the file into an MP3 encoder, like LAME, and get your MP3. It all basically goes as simple as that.
