mpegs help

Hello cyper sages and wise ones,
Can you help me with the following problem im having,my wife posted some pics mpegs on a message board,but the feed back she got from members was they could only see was a red x,(which i somtimes see on line)
So can somone tell what it is we are doing wrong and what the red x means we somtimes see on line

The red X would mean the message board can't find the file you uploaded or it can't display the kind of file you have uploaded.

You might have to look closely at the format of the file you uploaded. For example, some software can display .gif files but not animated .gifs. Maybe the format needs to be mpeg2 rather than avi, that kind of thing.

You'd want to check exactly what file format you have saved these files as and then make sure your message board can display that particular filetype.
