sorry to be the one to break it to you drf, but rap died about 8 years ago. yup, rap died, and his heavily deformed cousin (50 cent) and bastard child (eminem) took his place. no such thing as rap anymore!

Well, I quite like Eminem, and there are other good rappers out there. I know that 2pac was one of the best - I have his Greatest Hits CD. I don't really like music by artist, more by song. (for instance, Eminem's Lose Yourself was a great song)

Go check out the band Outkast. That's about as good as it's gotten since 1975. I'm not into rap at all, but Outkast has the funk down. Of course there's George Clinton and the P-funk All Stars, but that goes without saying.

There's a funky song in part 2 of The Bag, so we got that to look forward to.
