avi to vcd problem

i have an avi file (divx) and i try to change it to mpeg 1 with tempgenc and burn it with nero and i did
but the problem is that when i play it on my dvd player the movie show with wildscreen and i want it to be full screen
anyone know how can i burn my mpeg on and see it on fullscreen?

The .AVI was apparently cropped (probably in order to remove upper and lower black bars from a widescreen format and make a smaller file) and is actually a widescreen video. If this is, in fact, the case, I don't think there's much you can do - other than add back the black bars (using VirtualDub) to the .AVI...
