Avi to DVD or SVCD takes long??

Hello guys

Do all the methodes of making a dvd or svcd from an avi or mpeg file, take such a long time? even when we have so much developement and knowledge? Or is there a shorter way, plz answer

You can just convert to a DVD file and then burn. Following is a post that worked for me.
