Help: Simple way to copy/convert an audio commentary to MP3?

Great Forum !!

I've often wanted to convert the audio tracks from my DVDs into an MP3 .

This allows me to make the audio more transportable. Then you can take the sound files to work, put them on your portable MP3 player, or even your car MP3 player. This is great for those obscure director commentaries you don't have time to watch.

So:

Just wanted to ask if anybody knows a relatively simple way to copy/convert an audio commentary onto MP3?

...Not sure what equipment to use/the easiest way to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

It doesn't get easier than using DVD Audio Extractor. It will read the audio tracks on a DVD (Or DVD files on the hard disk) and convert straight to MP3.

If it needs to be free then more work will be necessary. You can use Belight/Besweet to convert to mp3.

My prefered method, Rip with DVDD in IFO mode> then convert to mp3 with Belight/BeSweet,you won't be dissappointed !!

Demux the audio using PGCDemux.Now convert the ac3 file to mp3 using Besweet(better Belight).
