DVD-R Compressing 50%--65% better?

i removed all other audio channels and the compression setting went from 50 to 65
is that slightly better?

worth doing ?

Much better. 15% less compression will definately benefit your final backup. I always remove extra audio streams and subpictures, and often all menus also to try have a result with very little compression.
