    pc to vhs recorder

    can any one please help,i was resently asked by a family member if i could put a film that i have put on to svcd onto vhs,i have tried to find how, but to no avail.so if any one can help,with out it costing an arm and a leg i will be most intrested snograt

    Since you referred to an SVCD, I presume you have a standalone DVD player that you use to view it. I'll also assume that you have a VHS VCR.

    1) Simply run cables from the standalone player's "video out" and "audio out(s)" to the VCD's "video in" and "audio ins"

    2) Press "play" on the standalone player

    3) Press "record" on the VCR

      no,i dont have a stand alone dvd player,but i can borrow one to try,but till then any suggestions useing pc to vhs.

        If you have a video card with TV out, no problem.
        If not, no way...

          i tried it with a vga card with tv out,but i could not get a clear picture,it was all out of focus and the colour was with out contrast.the graphics card is a ati 64meg tv out
