    Can't watch DVD's anymore

My system used to be able to watch DVD movies, but suddenly I'm getting an error indicating that it can't read the copy protection.
WMP actually says, "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection."
InterActual Player says, "A CSS error occurred while trying to play the DVD."

Any ideas on what might cause this to suddenly happen. BTW: It's all DVD movies.

    System:
    Windows XP Pro
    AMD Athlon 64 3800+
    2GB RAM
ASUS A8V-MX Motherboard with integrated video

you should follow Lt. Columbo's advice, he knows what he's talking about!
i had problems too with the same media player and Lt.Columbo and Soup suggested the classic player, and now everything works great!

Turns out it was Nero. I was having trouble installing the patch for the next point release, so I un-installed it. On a whim, I tried a DVD and it worked. So I haven't installed Nero again, but I probably will before too long.

If you're having compatability problems with Nero you might want to try ImgBurn. Its free just link from Blutach's signature.

Yeah, I've got DeepBurner Pro to use instead of Nero.
