dvd to wmv with subtitles and logo

I need suggestions on how to go from a dvd to wmv. I also need to add subtitles and a logo.

Right now Ive used autogk to divx then added the avi in virtual dub and re encoded with the logo filter, and after that convert to wmv. It is to many steps I think, is there any easier way. Would it be possible to frameserve directly from virtual dub to say procoder and not have to re encode the video to add the logo?

use avisynth-- import the virtualdub logo filter in your script and encode to wmv with program of your choice.

i should add though imho adding a logo to video that's not yours is plain stupid
