i have been using shrink to burn dvds for a while.. but resently, when i try to use it, it displayed "PMA update failure." I am not sure wat this means. i seriously don't know where to start to fix this problem. PLease help me thanx.

it could also need firmware updated or alot of times it ends up being bad media. u can check 4 firmware update using dvd d, by clicking on tools, drive and then click on check 4 firmware updates. hope this helps.sigpicComment

1. Your firmware is 15 versions out of date! Click here and get A117.
2. Update your Ner0 to 6.6.0.18 - see http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=62465.
3. Delete the CDRALW2K.SYS driver. It conficts with Ner0.
4. Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
5. Finally, see the bottom of this thread where this PMA issue has been mentioned in a few other threads. Search!

i just have one more concern.. i followed the steps as listed above. but after i deleted the CDRALW2K.sys driver, i can not locate my dvd-rom drive and my cd-rom drive?? i search for D:/ and it said that it is not found and check for spell. Is this suppose to happen when that delete that or is it another problem. If it is another problem, how do i fix it?
