ARRI lighting

Hi there,

I need to buy a set of lamps but don't want anything too big i.e. 800 Watt Redheads (I use those at college).

I want a nice portable set of three, which could possibly be dimmed and could range from 300 - 600W. I was advised that ARRI lighting is good..but I can't see a "set" as such. The usual stuff like barn doors would be good and if it had interchangeable option to add coloured gels..that would be nice..eeeeee... I don't want much eh!

Does anyone know of any good lighting websites?

Thanks for that..I've had a look. It makes some interesting reading.

I'm really hoping for a site where I can buy the lights. Somewhere in the UK would be best.

The thing is..I'm hoping for someone with experience to tell me a really good set of lights that they use. There is so much choice I can barely make my mind up.
