can't open any file?
DVD shrink wont open any files from HD.Does anyone knows how to do this or what i should use te resolve this issue?

If you have nero burning rom you should be able to click on creat VCD and burn them to a cd.
Or you could convert the files to DVD compatiable files.Comment

question for lt.columbo
Let me formulate my question:
I got few movies on my HD (kvcd,vcd,xvid) i can burn them with Nero but files are to large...here goes my question for you.
-How do I shrink those files so i can burn them into dvd format?
DVD shrink cant do a thing.

you want dvd files? ok

one file is 1gb,others mostly 700mb,600mb...when i try to burn it says that file to large even though i managed to burn some of them which were up to 850 mb. Is there any free software that will allow me to shrink those files?

which one works best to make dvd movies from files?
TMPGEnc plus 2.5 , or TMPGEns DVD Author 2.0 ?

unless you have mpeg-1's that are "dvd-ready" (29 fps NTSC) you need both. i use dvd author 1.6. i have no use of upgrading unless they add subtitle support. but i do like the audio correction. i may ask santa--we'll see. bottom line, you got my vote
