    Is it possible to capture a still frame from a DVD?

    Most software-DVD-player have the option to save stills. Read the documentation of your playerand you will find it. Every other method will need to ripp at least on vob-file to your hdd and make the snapshot with an video-editor.

      I like this little freeware called quick screen capture. You can get it at www.howiesfunware.com or look for it at download.com just pause the movie where you want it and push printscreen.
