AVI (format dvsd) 2 AVI (Divx)

Anyone Know a software that convert a file captured from DV Camcorder (.AVI - format 'dvsd') directly to AVI (divx)?

I believe the most recent version of VirtualDub (v.1_4_10), should be able to address your needs...

Unfortunately VirtualDub 1.4.10 gave me this message:
"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd' (Unknown)
VirtualDub requires a video for Windows (vfw) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are note suitable".
Any other idea?

Anyway, I have a question for myself. Please help. I have tried to use DivX Codec 5.01 Pro or 4.12 in VirtualDub 1.4.10. I do not know how to use two passes to make my DivX file. Would anyone tell me the steps to run 1st and 2nd passes? I only know "SAVE as AVI" for making a DivX file. Thanks.
