    Can someone help me out with a random question? :)

    Hey peeps,
    I was wondering if someone could answer a simple question for me. How do you tell if an original DVD has been burned? Is there a way to tell? I mean, its quality doesn't get worse or anything, right?
    Sorry for the ignorant questions, I'm just hoping there's no difference if I burn my dvds...

    Any info you can provide will be much appreciated. Thanks !

    Why do you care if you own the original?

      Possibly so his kids won't notice that the dvds are backups? But that is a question I'm wondering.

        @jackinthebox

        If ripping and burning reduced or affected the quality of the original DVD, watching the original DVD on PC or DVD player would cause the same problem, wouldn't it?
