    Divx to VCD :-(

    Hey ! Still The same problem ! i cant rip divx to vcd , ive tried to
    Use TMPGEnc but it ripping it with out the sound , Some one
    Told me that i need to compress the audio with VirtualDub or
    Something like this . Anyway this is the file

    1) I'm surprised that you can obtain a videostream using TMPGEnc on an AVI that was compressed with DivX v.5.01. As far as I know, TMPGEnc cannot handle either the v.5.0 or 5.01 codecs.

    2) There's obviously something anomalous about the audiostream ("indeterminate number of frames").

    I'd suggest that you use VirtualDub to convert both the video and audiostreams. Convert the video to DivX v.3.11alpha or 4.12, and convert the audio to Uncompressed PCM(WAV) format - and save with a new filename...

      Im using the same prog TMPGEnc To make vcd's from divx. I think the Audio mpg layer has to be mpg-1 fromat, all the ones i made with mpg-1 format all work with audio. Im new at this though but i notice your audio is mpeg-4.
