    Need to join a Mpeg2 with a WAV, having issues

    So here's what i've got. an .M2V file, and the .wav file that goes with it. I'm trying to "multiplex them" i guess, meaning make them into one file. I'm having issues getting a program to let me do it.

    Nandub - wont load the MPEG-2 video
    Virtual Dub - Wont load the MPEG-2 Video
    Virtual Dub Mod - Loads the MPEG-2, but doesn't handle audio
    TMPGEnc.exe - This is actually what is recomended by the maker of the tool i used to extract the MPEG-2, but for whatever reason, this program no longer supports MPEG-2.

    One other method i've tried is using this Virtual Dub MOD to convert the MPEG-2 into a .avi, but i'm not using it right, and it always removes the framerate, making the video play as fast as it can. Otherwise it worked fine, i actually got my multiplexed file, but it played an 8 second clip in about .75 of a second.

    Can anyone recomend a program, or maybe an older version of a program, that will let me load the WAV and the .M2V and make them one file? I know how to use all of the programs i've listed here, i just cant make them do what i want.

    Oh, i see now that this is a MPEG-4 Sub-forum, and i appologize for that, but i dont see a forum that's closer to what i'm looking for.

    Any help is still appreciated.

    only if you have the free version 2 ways you can do this easily. first do you wish this to be on dvd? if so:

    download and install trial of TMPGEnc dvd author. (full 30 days). add the .m2v as video source and .wav file as audio>author. simple as that.

    or

    using belight, convert the .wav file to .mp2 (freeware). then, using TMPGEnc Plus Multiplex the .m2v file and the .mp2 file (file>mpeg tools>multiplex, use mpeg-2 program VBR). now you will have an mpeg file with sound

        @kileran

        TMPGENc is a nice tool for that. But if you want to have a wonderful free tool to mux .m2v and .wav files, you can download and use Muxman instead. Get it from the link below:
