    Problems with Flask

I've a problem with Flask 6.0 or newer: Without audio encoding everything runs fine, but as soon as I choose a audio codec (it doesn't matter which one I choose e.g. Ogg Vorbis, WMA, MP3) the whole programm crashs. The interesting point is that everything runs fine with Flask 0.594. Has anybody an idea to get the whole thing running with Flask 6?

    Thanks in advice

This is just me, but I suggest that you don't use FlasKMPEG v. 6.0 The program has a tendency not to work right always. I suggest you get the newest version which is FlasKMPEG XiS Expert! Edition. This version includes every add on available to the FlasKMPEG program (that I know of). It is much easier to use, especially with the AutoCrop feature. Check it out, it is worth it.

I don't use the "pure" Flask 6 but either the XiS Expert Version or the new Xmpeg and in both versions the problems with audio encodng occur....

Here on this page... just go to Software -> Flask -> and scroll down a bit. There you'll find the standart XiS as well as the Expert Edition (don't ask me about the difference between them)

                Hi

Flask version 0.6 has a problem with vorbis, lame and other vbr audio codecs, It simply won't let encode sound if these codes are installed on your system, uninstall them and you should be fine.

                  defend Flask

I don't want to search for trouible with you guys but I think Flask is a good program. I make VCD's and never have troubles.
The only stupid things are the subtitles, but I encode the video with Flask 0.584 if 0.6 don't want to add the subtitles.
