Hey. I'm building a system for my friend. I need some help with the video capturing aspecs of the system. Here is what the rest is gonna be.
1800+ XP
256 DDR 333
80 GIG HD
Floppy
24x burner
dvd rom
case

He is a dj and wants to have a decent sound system. So I was thinking the extigy by creative, because it is good and has firewire with it. The only thing is. I don't know if the firewire with the extigy can be used for capturing dv from a video camera. He also wants to be able to edit analog video. Like the old style plugs. Can anyone help me out with a website address or something that would help me out with what hardware to use? Thanks.
