Just keep in mind, that you get what you pay for. If you want cheap, expect cheap. If you want functionality, features, resolution, then cheap is not where you will find these.

I have also tried to tell folks that just because it was cheap when you bought it, doesnt mean that it will be cheap to fix if it needs service.

Many cannot understand why a 30 dollar DVD player takes 80 dollars to fix.

Well when you mass produce cheap products it brings the retail price way down, flooding the market with cheap items. A typical service center or electronic repair shop must still pay overhead costs, insurance, pay the technician for their skill which btw wasnt learned in mass production school and cost the person more than typical college tuitions.

The end result is a industry that has become de-valued..ie electronic service due to the flooding of the market with cheap items. This is why there are far less electronic repair shops these days, and is why manufacturers of these cheap things simply exchange the defective item for a new one, usually in a 30 day period.

Another bad thing about cheap is that the re-sale value or second hand value is worth nothing. Again I have seen much confusion with this in the consumer arena, folks dont understand why pawn shops wont take cheap stuff or give very little, usually 1/10th the price as new for a item.

Only one word explains it all......CHEAP.

      Good hunting!
