    Editing my video

Hi guys, I recently received a dvd of my local football team goals and saved it onto my computer and would like to know how to copy music over the top of it, instead of the howling wind etc that is currently on it.
As you may be aware I am fairly new to this so any help would be great. Which software would be the best for doing simple editing of the video for a beginner?

    Thanks

If you have XP? Windows Movie Maker. Look in your Start>Progams

I would join them in VideoReDo Plus as an mpg file. Use the mpg file in the Windows editor.

rename to ".mpg" extensions to load into WMM.

Then any sound problems would be moot.

Not moot, just a different situation. I unfortunately can't help with the extension change problem. I'm sure one of our members might be able to help. Hang in there! Help is on the way!
