Inner Tube video/ how to save/convert?

Is there any way to save/convert CBS's innertube videos to divx or avi by using some kind of freeware? It's really annoying trying to watch on my computer screen...my dvd player plays divx files, so if I could save and convert to divx I could watch it on the tv.
