Your avi and srt files must have EXACTLY the same names and in the same folder e.g SAW.srt and SAW.avi. I don't know whether Winamp or Real player can play subs, but Media Player Classic can.

I tried to open the subtitle in MPClassic and I get following error:

"To load subtitles you have change the video renderer type and reopen the file.
      -Directshow: VMR7/VMR9 renderless or Haali's
-Realmedia: Special renderer for RealMedia, or open through DirectShow
-Quicktime: DX7 or DX9 renderer for Quicktime
      -ShockWave: n/a"

but I can't find the renderer tab/menu anywhere

      grtz

::edit:: the saw 3 version I have is Saw.III.TELESYNC.XViD-PUKKA
