    Record what I hear?

    Ok, I have scoured the net and asked many people but I can't seem to find anything or get it to work. I need a freeware or other free way to record what I hear coming from my speakers, for instance if I have a live streaming radio show/or broadcast I would want to record a portion of it. Is this possible and can someone please show me the way?

    Someone pointed me to freecorder, but that doesn't seem to work on all of the settings I have tried.

    thanks!!

    Zvolen, http://www.roemersoftware.com/index.html Follow this link and download the free Hi-Q Recorder. Works great.

    This will basically record anything that you hear out of your PC speakers, whether it be from a DVD or radio broadcast....... etc etc. Hope this gives you a hand mate

        Audacity is nice, also Goldwave;

        A neat little function of Hi-Q recorder is the built-in VCR-like timer

        regards, katz

          Put your recording source to Wave Out Mix (may have to go to advanced for that)

          Then use any recording program.

              Spend the $20 and buy TotalRecorder. I've been using it for about 5 years now and I have never needed to look for anything else.
