    AVI format question

I want to make a photo slideshow of my trip to England... maybe 3 seconds per picture. Would it be a smaller size if I made it 1 frame per second and had 3 frames per picture, vs. the usual 30fps?

If so, would it have to have a special audio track?

depending on the codec/settings, shouldn't be much smaller; still images compress easily. even so, better to go with 1 frame/photo at 1/3 fps. can be done with virtualdub or avisynth, just add

    Code:
    assumefps(1,3)
to the end of your script.

since each frame still runs for 3 seconds, nothing special needs to be done with the audio

      OK thanks.

I might go fancy and add transitions, but then I would burn to a DVD to prevent large files (I took around 700 pictures)
