Before I learned how to properly back up my movies I created a VOB file and since then my original got screwed up. Does anyone know how I can turn my VOB file back into a playable DVD?
Thanks but I already tried using IfoEdit. The "Creat IFOs" button at the bottom is grayed out. I only have 1 VOB file if that makes a difference. My VOB file is 5.6MB.

Reason: More info
When you launch IFOEdit the "Create IFO" button shouldn't be greyed out. Unless maybe you tried to use the "Open" button and open your VOB file, that might grey it out.
But still, what Blutach said.
1 VOB file, 5.6 MB? That's not a movie. That's more like... a scene from a movie, a short scene too.
I'm figuring that you meant 5.6 GBs, if so, do you have Nero Vision Express, is so, try and see if you can load that VOB into Vision Express and process, if so , then it will output a full set of DVD compliant titlesets, VOB, IFO, BUP.

Sorry, I did mean 5.6 GBs. I do have Nero Vision but unfortunately after blutach's response I deleted the file to free up room. Thanks for letting me know and if I run into this problem again I'll give it a try.
Sorry to hear that. I've successfully used this software to recover files which I've deleted, both a hard delete (Shift-del), or purged from the Recycle Bin. It doesn't have a 100% recovery rate, but you've got nothing to lose by trying. The sooner after the delete you use it the better. Best of luck.
