    cutting mpeg with TMPGEnc

I dloaded spygame in three files, each file is 800mb therefore, I can't burn it on cd. So, I decided to edit it.

My plan was to join all three and then cut it into four parts, of 700,700,700, and 300.

I used instructions on this page: http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgencedit.htm
I did EXACTLY as it said.

The new movie that I made is all messed up. When I play the new clip it starts out fine but, then after four seconds it plays frame by frame, very jerky. Why is that? What did I do wrong?

Also, I wasn't sure if my movie is MPEG2 or MPEG1. I added all three clips thinking that it was MPEG2. Thanks for all your help.

If it is in vcd format (mpeg1) you can actually fit 800 mb on 80min cdr

Im guessing that you had it as Mpeg 2 and it was mpeg 1. i would just try it again as Mpeg 1. Load the file into Virtual dub and get tht file information. Post EVERYTHING you see.
