    What was that program?

I had a program before I reformatted my pc, what I remember was that when ever you played a video file it poped up two icons in the task bar near the clock. One controlled the audio stuff(ie. increase audio output) for the video file and one icon controlled the video stuff. What was it called??
    Thanks

Could it be ffdshow or are you talking about controls?

it's a directshow filter that is capable of decoding (playing) many audio/video formats, using mostly libavcodec which is part of the ffmpeg project. latest builds from here.

also handles VFW (eg virtualdub), can encode and do some mean post processing too
