avi to dvd

as an absolute newbie i apologise if this is a repeat thread although i have tried to search the subject.
does anyone know a link to a program to convert avi to dvd that is both free and also free from the annoying advert that appears on most freeware versions of programs i have tried so far.
any help much appreciated

Have you tried AVI2DVD ??

There are also great commercial alternatives as well, like....1ClickDVDMovie, TMPGEnc, & ConvertXToDVD. These will probably give you better results and less of a chance of audio sync problems. They all have free trial periods as well.
