Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-350

i have WinTV-PVR-350 card and would like to connect recording shows from my cable. i appreciated if someone can point me to a reading area about this. do i first need to buy a long split cable? thanks.

You just have to connect the coaxil cable to the card. Then use some type of programming guide, I use Zap2It. And finally some capture software. Windows Media Center is one of the best, but Hauppage has WinTV 2000 which can be downloaded from their website..
