Help removing Macrovision when Capturing!

Hi guys, I have an Asus TNT2 Ultra and just installed AsusLive ver4.40.

When I try to capture some videos that I want to convert to VCD I get an error msg about macrovision.

Is there a patch or anything to remove this?

Needless to say this doesn't happen on all tapes just the pre-recorded ones.

The older version of Asus Live didn't do this but this newer version which has some features I wanna use does. Any ideas?

I have an ASUS V7100 Deluxe Combo board that I purchased almost a year ago. It came with v.4.5 of ASUS Live - which has NO problems circumventing Macrovision (whereas the other program that came with it - ASUS Digital VCR - exhibits the same behavior that you described.)

It's hard to believe, though not impossible, that both earlier and later versions of the software can deal with Macrovision, while yours can't.

Perhaps you can obtain an update from the ASUS website.
