    JPEG-files from movies!

    Hi!

Im a guy from Sweden that have an DV-Camera (Sony HC-94) i think, and when i transfer the movie to harddrive im wondering if there is some program that i can take JPEG-shots (photos) from the movie (even if the resulution is bad), its not working with (print screen funktion) because i would like to do a cover for the movie and so on.

    I hope someone understood!

Almost any video player software (Power DVD, VLC, Media Player Classic, etc.) can capture frames. Screen Capture works too, but won't work in 'Overlay Mode'. You can turn off video acceleration (Overlay) from DXDiag.

720 x 480 if you're NTSC, 720 x 576 PAL, HDTV, whatever the original resolution is...You won't get any better than the source.

The result will probably be of lower quality too, most people will have let WMP resize the video.

Sorry, this was wrong post in wrong subject by me!

Thanks for all help, but everything looks so difficult and complicated, maybe it is easy, but it seems difficult. Before i have captured video with moviebox and Pinnacle Studio 9, it was easy, but the result were sooo bad !!!!

I dont want to do any pro things with the video, only transfer it to a DVD and maybe do a own menu or something that you can do in pinnacle studio 9 & 10. I was thinking if there is an option to Moviebox that gets better result.

Best regards & thanks in advance!

you could try fraps, or some other kind of screen capturing program, and then just print the screen or something?
