    First question!

    Hi everyone,

I've been browsing the forums and I probably have a lot of questions answered without posting a thing! Thanks!

I do have a question that maybe you can help me with.

A friend of mine ripped me a disk of some Flash tutorials he said he bought and
I've been watching them and think they are great but the only problem is there are no controls, in other words, no pause, or any of the usual controls you usually get. All the files are .swf files and I thought that maybe there was an option I'm missing or if I can convert these to another format that will give me the control I want.

Did I mention that this might be a pretty stupid question!

Thanks in advance, and if I seem stupid it's probably because I am.

    Pete

Nevermind! I seem to have found a solution!

Gee! Maybe I'm not as stupid as I thought I was!

Sorry about that! All I did was download a free viewer and it opened the files and I now have all the controls. Makes it a lot easier to follow along.

I'll have to find the site again and I'll post a link for anyone who needs it but in the meantime it's called SWF Opener for anyone who wants to Google it!

        Okay! Here's the link!

SWF Opener - download the latest version for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 (32-bit and 64-bit). You have saved a Flash movie to your hard drive. What's next? How are you going to play it? You can. Get SWF Opener old versions and alternatives.

This is a great site by the way!

No problem, anytime. A couple of other good ones are FileHippo & MajorGeeks.
