Region Code Frustration!

I have a Sony DAV-DX 375 player that is giving me a region code error on disks that are region free. Is is possible to burn a disk with RCE and Region 1 back intact so this player will be a happy Thanks!

I thought I did but after burn the disk was still Region free. I will try it again! Thanks for the help
