I get this when trying to Verify a dual layer burn. Is there a sticky to that old link with Thes0up and his Iso burn with imgburn for a duel layer? Maybe I did or did not click something?

So could it have anything to do with the firmware?

Is that site in relevance to my memorex disks? Is it the disks? Not sure what you ment by "spotty media". Should I set ImgBurn to burn at 2.5x? instead of 4x? What is the difference between whatever and "incremental"? As the first one failed, so I just started clicking boxes in the options menu of ImgBurn. That really didn't do anything as well except for making another wonderful coaster. Now I'm just missing a mini bar to put these to good use.

                No. Get Verbatims.

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

Reset your ImgBurn settings to default.

Chewy. Is that hyperlink about RITEK and my LG burner? or is it about the media on the Memorex disk?

1st link was to show how the ritek D01's are crappy(mid code of those dual layer)

                    use verbatim

2nd link your burner's firmware has an update which might help?

1 last question I have before I do more testing. Since I have like alot + more + an extra gross of these Memorex disks would lowering the speed do anything at all in terms of possible success?

maybe after the firmware update you will be allowed to burn at 2.4 x??

imgburn will show the allowed burn speeds in the right window with a blank loaded

select 2.4x for the burn speed

it's ok to test with those memorex's until they are gone

                          expect some coasters
