Music Video Compilations

Hi... hoping a guru can help me on here....
I have about 20 music videos dvd that i'm trying to compile single songs from some of the DVD's onto one disc....
i'm new with Shrink...so only thing i know how to do is ripping the whole dvd...
can someone please please help me by showing me a step by step method of ripping a start and stop point within a dvd..so that i can burn all of the ones i personally picked out onto one DVD please...
