    Music From a DVD

    Hi,

    I have a live concert DVD that i would like to burn the music onto a cd so i can play in the car.

    I was wondering if any1 knew of a way to take the audio sound from a .vob file and convert it so it will play in a cd player???
    SYSTEM:

    Pentioum Duo 6400, 8 GB Ram, 500Gb Hardrive, 32x DVD Rom, 16 x TCorp Duel Layer Burner, Geforce 7900GTX.

    Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper works for me. There is a trial, but then you have to buy........ Just Google you'll find quite a few apps like this.
    Oils well thats ends well.

      I've also used an audio editor like Audacity, to record audio off disk,and edit/cut and save to wave or MP3...There is other ways,but these are what I've used!!!!

      Audacity is a free, easy-to-use and multilingual audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. You can use Audacity to: Record live audio.

        Thanks for the replies ill give these suggestion a go now! I did try audacity but for some reason couldn't get it to pick up any audio whilst playing the dvd in powerdvd!

          Just tried Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper works a treat gonna shell out a couple of buck and get that thanks again for all the help as always!

              That's great junkie_ball , but in audacity make sure set to "stereo mix" for audio input....Once setup properly Audacity is a usefull prog. IMO....having said that good luck with DAR......
