    Transport stream

    hi,

    I wanted to know with which software I can convert from AVI-DV to MPEG2 Transportstream with AC-3 sound?

    I need a software that I can control the PID, PMT ect...

      I didn't know that AutoGK could output MPEG2 Transport stream!!!!
      @I-Land,you can try out Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD.

          Night, that works the other way round, MPEG PS/TS and AVI --> AVI.

          I-Land: Use whichever applications you wish to encode to MPEG2 PS/ES (my preference is Avisynth with HCEnc) and use ProjectX to mux to MPEG TS

            Transport stream

            I want to encode files in to Transport stream with specifications of PIDs AN PMT ect... i know how to do the elemntery sream...

            any recomended software?

              I think VirtualDub (maybe the Mod version, or MPEG-2 version) can open .ts, I haven't tried it, you'll have to see.

                    Oh.

                    No idea then... can those even be burned? AFAIK, .TS is just the output of HD TV signals. What good would those do, even if you wanted to play them back on a HDTV you'd need some sort of player.

                    But I don't have HDTV, nor am I knowledgeable about it, so don't get frustrated with me if I'm wrong!

                      Add the streams, hit prepare, select "TS" and hit play. ProjectX comes with documentation IIRC.

                      If it is unsuccessful, Avidemux and mplayer can do it as well.
