Problem With Dvd Shrink

Hi can someone help?
been using dvd shrink to burn my back ups every film perfect.
the problem is now when it is writting to disc when it gets to 99% it stops.If I get a pin open the dvd drive and play the film on any dvd it works fine.

any ideas as i keep losing my pins(what has started this problem?
