    stretched vertically

    I recently got a movie, which is perfectly viewable, except for the fact that the aspect ratio is a bit out of whack. It is at 640x352 and I'm betting, since most of my other movies are at 640x304 or 720x352 (I can't remember exactly), that it was encoded improperly. Is there a file utility or and editor like virtualdub, that can correct this? Note there aren't black borders, or at least none that I can see. It is just the wrong format.

    the easiest way would be to use POWER DIVX NEXT GEN.

    this player can 'stretch' your avi while playing!

      Yes, VirtualDub has an internal "Resize" filter available under the "Video" dropdown menu.

      Let us know of your success ;>}
