works on windvd not good on dvd player

hey i was testing some things and i burnt an mpeg simpsons file on to a cdrw and when i play it on windvd it is nice but the sounds is like half a sec to a sec off but the picture is nice....but when i put it on my console dvd player it will stop and mess up the screen a little bit and then start again then do that again.. does anyone know what i am doing wrong? Thanks for all your help!

try PowerDVD.

howdi, try Playing the VCD with Power DVD, coz i use the XP version seems fine, winDVD seems to stuff up someway or the other. so i got Power DVD 4 XP. thats much better.
