Yesterday, WORKED. Today, DON'T WORK

This is my problem:
one day my video work(one i downloaded in the net),
video & sound OK. but now, it didn't work anymore, the
image is all right, but the sound is different, with strange noises.
i didn't change any of my hardware if this could be the reason for the problem..



please help

The reason being because of ONBOARD SOUND, GET RID OF IT!!!!!!!! IT SUX!!! I have no idea why the manufacturers made oboard X, Y in the first place! it is daft and causes tons of problems.

Also, it is the AMD CPU that is causing this issue, I know that for a fact and I h8 AMD's but I am still treating the problem as if it were my own system.

yes you were right.
i uninstalled the driver of my sound card
(f**king onboard) and re-installed.
it worked great for me.

Well, it depends what purpose u r wanting the card for, eg. playing sound, editing, sound quality etc..

But I personally recommend creative labs.

I got their PCI 128 soundblaster card and it is SWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT - and that is their basic sound card, it doesn't seems like a basic sound card, it seems even better than that!!!

And it was only a few UK ££

Techno, you have not heard their Live! cards and above? I upgraded my PCI 128 to a Live! 5.1 and there was a tremendous sound quality increase, not to mention the added EAX capabilities. Heck! I'm actually looking around for a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz/ Videologic Sonicfury now.

Enchanter, I have heard it and oh man it is like heaven!!!

I got the pci 128 card 3 years ago now and it is given me sweet sound! I may buy the 5.1 live platinium with the live drive...let me see how much cash I have.....

The Turtle Beach Santa Cruz/ Videologic Sonicfury should give even better sound, compared to the Audigy, when it comes to music and DVDs. I believe Sonicfury is what you will find in the UK.
